There are thousands of jobs in today's labor market. An important part of the ACE Program is helping you to make sense of today's world of work. To assist in that we provide you with a working model of today's employment market so that you can better understand it. Once you have this understanding, you will have taken a big step toward being able to see where you fit in it.
Once you know more about your vocational personality and you better understand the world of work, we combine these two elements and clearly define where you fit in today's labor market. When you know where you fit, you can then begin to explore careers that would be a good match for you.
There will probably be more than one or two careers that sound appealing to you and you are probably going to want to do more research into those careers after our session is over. To help you do this, we'll show you some of the most effective ways to research careers and the training needed to access those careers.
When you're done with the ACE Program you'll have everything you need to make a good career choice. You'll know how to do research into a number of careers that sound like good matches for you. Through self-knowledge, you'll be better able to look at any of those careers and determine how fulfilling they might be for you. And, perhaps most importantly, you'll have more confidence in your ability to take control of your career and your life.
